New Vista PC

Postby cstevens » Sun Nov 02, 2008 4:28 pm

I have just bought a new PC, and wonder what the best way to install is? Can I just take the latest update and install it or should I use my original disk which will be sooooooo out of date then update, then copy my data over the top, or should I use the restore faclitiy?

Right

I have now installed from my original CD, and then opened and closed.
Then installed the upgrade, then opened and closed.

I have then copied over my original BAK folder to the new PC and run BARestore.

I have picked a backup, in fact I have tried several and I get the following error when it trys to upgrade.

"Not Possible to upgrade the database"
"Please return to the last backup and the last version .........."
importFile(configuration/user/all, BPE_FIX/accountz/configuration/defauly/main.xml) when running upgrade: BPE_FIX

I have found the previous update and installed that and my data is fine (v08.03.18 lv.07.04) but I try the upgrade to the latest version even after this and get the errors above.

HELP! PLEASE!

Unfortunately this happened previously and even though I have a new PC I STILL cant upgrade to the latest version of your software.

You solution is to call you 9-5 when in front of my PC - I am unable to do this, as I said previously.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

P.S. Current version is now v 08.03.18 lv 07.04. Surely you have a patch for this that will actually work?
