Tax Date - VAT Date

Postby Xpajun » Wed Nov 09, 2016 11:41 am

Now having to work with VAT (wish I'd set up VAT on accoutz long ago now)

Accountz has both Tax Date and VAT Date - now seeing VAT is a Tax why is there both?

Also 'Transfer Imports' only imports as a Tax Date not a VAT Date - a VAT date can be imported but only a singe date for the import not a VAT date for each item

Am I missing something here?

I think my suggestion here may prove useful. You may wish to endorse that suggestion in that thread, as I'm pretty sure that others have wondered just the same.

Just to add to this -

Only transactions entered as purchases or sales (red books or blue books) will show on a VAT return these ask the user for a VAT code. Transfer transactions (green books) are a form of one line journals and do not show on a VAT return along with journal transactions (black books).
